Recovered by Baba from buildings that can no longer be restored, this extraordinary aged oak has been gently dried by a century's exposure to air and sunlight. It's fumed to expose the fullness of its warm patina. Each wide, long, hard board is carefully repaired, edge-straightened and milled with new tongues and new grooves.
